US Stock Market Situation Yesterday, July 23<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

US stocks fell slightly on Tuesday as the market awaited the second-quarter financial reports of major technology companies. The S&P 500 fell 0.16% to 5,555.74 points. The Nasdaq fell 0.06% to 17,997.35 points. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.14% to 40,358.09 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The yield on 10-year US Treasury bonds edged up to 4.256%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Dollar Index rose 0.15% to 104.47 points yesterday as investors await inflation data expected to be released later this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About Gold Situation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

World gold prices increased slightly today with spot gold increasing by 12.4 USD, reaching 2,410 USD\/ounce. Gold futures last traded up 16 USD compared to early this morning, reaching 2,410.7 USD\/ounce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regarding the commodity trading market situation, some notable developments<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oil prices fell about $21 a barrel on Tuesday, as hopes of a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and concerns about Chinese demand sent prices down by about $21 a barrel. That was the lowest price since June 7. Brent crude fell $1.39, or $1.71 a barrel, to $81.01 a barrel. WTI crude fell $1.44, or $1.81 a barrel, to $76.96 a barrel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
