Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thang, the name once associated with the digital banking revolution 2.0 and the Vi Viet e-wallet, now returns as Chief Advisor at HVA Group. Pioneering Journey and Legacy<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In more than three decades of his career, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thang has always been considered a pioneer in shaping the intersection between technology and finance. He was honored as one of the pioneers who laid the foundation for Vietnam's information technology since 1983 when he was the Head of the Drafting Department - IBM Vietnam Computer Company - the only computer company at that time under the State Committee for Science and Technology of Vietnam, now Vietnam Computer Company 2. He was also the first lecturer on Dos1.0 and Dbase II in Vietnam. At the end of 1993, he founded Hong Co Trading Company Limited, now Hong Co Technology Company. After more than 30 years, Hong Co has become one of the leading private technology groups in Vietnam, contributing to the development of the domestic information technology industry and international cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Thang's name is most closely associated with LienVietPostBank, where he was a founding member, held the role of a member of the Board of Directors in charge of Information Technology, Chairman of the Technology Committee, Vice Chairman and then Chairman of the Board of Directors from 2018 to 2020. Here, he was the one who came up with the digital banking strategy 2.0, laying the foundation for digital transformation in the Bank. He is the chief architect of the Vi Viet LienVietPostBank application - one of the first e-wallets in Vietnam, a product that has reached international standards when winning the APICTA Awards 2017 in Nepal. Not only that, he also promoted the connection of banking services with public services, expanding financial access opportunities for millions of people and contributing to the development and spread of cashless payments. At the same time, Mr. Thang also held many important positions in Associations such as: Vice President of Vietnam Association of Information Technology from 2000 to present, Founding Council and Vice President of Vietnam Association of Software and IT Services (Vinasa) from 2002 to 2022; Vice President of Vietnam Digital Communications Association, Vice President of Vietnam Record Association, President of Vietnam Fintech Club...<\/p>\n\n\n\n
