The blockchain community is once again \u201cstirred up\u201d as SharpLink Gaming \u2013 one of the leading names in the field of gaming and Web3 finance \u2013 continues its Ethereum treasury strategy by purchasing an additional 11,259 ETH, worth $43.09 million. The transaction was made via the OTC (Over-the-Counter) method with partner Galaxy Digital, using USDC as the means of payment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This move brings SharpLink\u2019s total ETH holdings to 449,276 ETH, equivalent to $1.73 billion at market price, helping the company significantly shorten the gap with BitMine Immersion Technologies \u2013 the unit currently owns 625,000 ETH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Long-Term \u201cETH Treasury\u201d Strategy: From Vision to Execution<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In less than a week, SharpLink spent a total of more than $338 million to buy an additional 88,469 ETH, with major purchases in late July and early August. Previously, on July 29, BitMine also \u201cpoured\u201d another $224 million into ETH, becoming the world\u2019s largest Ethereum holder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, in terms of growth rate and trading frequency, SharpLink shows that they are pursuing a more aggressive and systematic ETH accumulation strategy. The use of the OTC form also partly shows careful calculation in minimizing market impact, maintaining stability and investor confidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unlike previous purchases that have made investors nervous, this latest deal has pushed SharpLink's SBET stock up more than 5% in the US pre-market trading session, currently trading around $19.56\/share - equivalent to an increase of nearly 100% in just 30 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
