HVA Investment Joint Stock Company (HVA Group) recently attended the International Economic Cooperation and Integration Conference - CIECI 2024, held on November 22-23, 2024 in Hanoi, with the theme "GREEN POLICIES AND PRACTICES: CATALYST OR PRESSURE FOR TRADE AND INVESTMENT". This is the 12th conference in the series of annual conferences on International Economic Cooperation and Integration initiated by the University of Economics - Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
Representative of HVA Group, Mr. Nguyen Hoai Tuong, Director of Digital Transformation and Director of Big Data and AI Center (HVA Group - Code: HVA), as co-chair with Dr. Nishu Ayedee (Confab 360 Degree) in the topic of Digital Transformation for Green Trade and Investment.
The objective of CIECI 2024 is to create and develop an academic environment, share experiences and research results on green trade and investment. The conference is the result of the joint organization of the University of Economics, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF), University of Adelaide (Australia), Confab 360 Degree (India), Sofia University (Bulgaria), Rangsit University (Thailand), Foreign Trade University (Vietnam), University of Economics and Law, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam).
With the theme “GREEN POLICIES AND PRACTICES: CATALYST OR PRESSURE FOR TRADE AND INVESTMENT”, the workshop focused on discussing green standards, regulations, policies related to trade and investment, the global context as well as the status of these policies in each country and made recommendations for countries and businesses.
The workshop was divided into 2 days with 5 main topics discussed: (1) Integrating green policies with global trade and investment, (2) Practices of green trade and investment, (3) Innovative financial models in the green economy, (3) Digital transformation for green trade and investment, (5) Sustainability and sector-specific adjustments under the EU Green Deal.
At the workshop, there were many discussions and solutions were proposed so that countries and businesses can apply green policies to develop green economic models and effective digital transformation, in order to promote sustainable development in trade and investment. The topic "Digital Transformation for Green Trade and Investment" co-chaired by HVA Group mentioned the importance of digital technology in promoting green solutions in global trade. Technology solutions such as Big Data, AI and data analysis models will play an important role in helping businesses better understand the market and increase the effectiveness of sustainable investment.
CIECI 2024 not only helps raise awareness of the importance of green policies but also creates opportunities for organizations and businesses to share experiences and promote international cooperation in this field.
