On January 8, 2026, the University of Banking Ho Chi Minh City held an important working session with HVA Group and DAVN to finalize the direction for implementing the Blockchain and Digital Assets specialization training program. This is a strategic step in the journey to make Blockchain technology a formal, applied, and internationally integrated specialization within the Vietnamese education system.
The event was attended by school leaders and representatives from DAVN – HVA Group.
The meeting was attended by key leaders from the University of Banking, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Trung – Rector; Dr. Nhut – Director of the Distance Learning Certification Center; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Hang – Head of the Training Department; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hai – Head of the Banking Faculty; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Nhut – Deputy Head of the Banking Faculty; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoang Anh and Dr. Kim Long.
Representing DAVN were Mr. Luong Hoang Hung and Mr. Truong Gia Bao – Vice Presidents of DAVN. HVA Group participated with the following: Mr. Le Hoa Nha – General Director of HVA Group. The collaboration between HVA Group and DAVN provides a strong technological and academic platform, comprehensively supporting the development of a Blockchain training ecosystem at the school.

Guidelines for implementing the Blockchain and Digital Assets training program.
During the meeting, the parties agreed to implement a specialized training program in Blockchain and digital assets based on the DNEx Simulation platform – a practical simulation tool jointly developed by HVA Group and DAVN. The program will include a university certificate in Blockchain and digital assets, a Fintech certificate, and technology credits integrated into the existing curriculum of the University of Banking.
HVA Group is committed to providing technological resources, practical implementation experience, professional materials, and a team of experts to ensure the academic quality and applicability of the program.

Flexible and modern training methods and formats.
Under the direction of Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Duc Trung, training will be implemented in parallel in various forms, from short-term courses to long-term programs, suitable for different groups of learners. Simultaneously, the teaching content will be adapted into a system of video lectures for distance learning, ensuring flexibility, broad accessibility, and alignment with the trend of digital education.
The primary goal is to standardize academic knowledge while expanding access to Blockchain knowledge for students, faculty, and learners both inside and outside the university.
Guiding principle: speed – quality – sustainability
The university leadership emphasized that the speed of implementation is a key factor. In 2026, the University of Banking aims to train at least 25 core lecturers with the capacity to teach Blockchain in depth. After 5 years, the number of lecturers is expected to double to meet the needs of expanding training scale.
Furthermore, the university aims to expand its training programs for international students in the Indochina region, eventually leading to the awarding of Vietnamese university degrees for international joint programs. This is a strategic step to make Blockchain a standard field of study in the region.
Progress of implementation and coordination between units
The weekly program structure will serve as the basis for developing a standardized curriculum. A representative from DAVN affirmed that the top priority is training instructors and finalizing the basic curriculum by January 2026. It is expected that the Blockchain program will officially be launched for students by early March 2026.

HVA Group plays a crucial role in providing simulation systems, materials, technology, and practical training methods to ensure the program is implemented quickly, effectively, and sustainably.
Conclusion
The meeting concluded with strong consensus between HVA Group, DAVN, and the University of Banking on the urgent need to integrate Blockchain into formal education. The parties agreed to finalize the program as soon as possible, while also collaborating on curriculum development, standardizing training methods, and comprehensively implementing it on a modern technology platform.
The collaboration between HVA Group, DAVN, and the University of Banking not only creates a new training program but also makes a significant contribution to the development of high-quality Blockchain human resources, meeting the needs of digital transformation and technological growth in Vietnam.
