On the morning of July 29, at Pho Hoi Hall - Da Nang, the Final Round of the Da Nang City Innovation and Startup Competition - SURF 2025 officially took place, one of the key events in the series of activities of the City Innovation and Startup Festival this year. With an expanded scale, a strong entrepreneurial spirit and the participation of more than 100 startup technology booths, the event is not only an intellectual playground but also a place to connect, orient and promote the sustainable development of the startup ecosystem.
Launch pad for innovative talent
This year's competition attracted the participation of 31 potential projects, of which 10 excellent projects passed the qualifying round to enter the Final Round. Some typical projects include: eTelecom, Rally AI, VicoNext - smart connection platform applying NFC&AI, Enfue, LotusEase - semi-automatic fresh lotus seed shelling machine, etc. The projects come from many regions such as Da Nang, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Nghe An and even internationally (Russian Federation), showing the appeal and spread of the competition at a global level.
Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Da Nang - Mr. Pham Ngoc Sinh emphasized: “The competition is a place to select and develop talents and create a breakthrough springboard for innovative start-up projects.” In particular, this year recorded the enthusiastic participation of a large number of students, demonstrating the strong spread of entrepreneurial spirit in the young community.
Large-scale exhibition with more than 100 startup booths
In parallel with the final round, a live exhibition program was also held at the event venue, gathering more than 100 booths from many provinces and countries. The technology products on display spanned many fields: AI, Fintech, Blockchain, digital transformation, biotechnology, healthcare, environment, education, interior design, marketing and renewable energy.
