US Stock Market Situation Over the Weekend of October 18: The financial economic news showed that the US stock market increased in the trading session on Friday (October 18), with the S&P 500 and Dow Jones indexes both closing at new record highs and completing 6 consecutive weeks of increase. At the end of the trading session, the S&P 500 increased by 0.4%, reaching 5,864.67 points. The Nasdaq index increased by 0.63%, reaching 18,489.55 points. The Dow Jones increased by 36.86 points, equivalent to an increase of 0.09%, reaching 43,275.91 points.

On the US Treasury bond situation on October 20, The yield on 10-year US Treasury notes edged up to 4.097%.

Regarding the Dollar Index situation, The Dollar Index fell in the last trading session of the week, at 103.46. The USD exchange rate has witnessed many strong fluctuations in the past week, especially in the context of the US Federal Reserve's (Fed) interest rate decisions and some global economic factors.

Regarding the Gold situation, World gold prices are on an upward trend, with spot gold up $2.3 from last week's close, reaching $2,723.1 an ounce. Last week, gold enjoyed one of its strongest and most consistent price increases of the past year. Amid ongoing tensions, experts say the gold rally is far from over. 

Regarding the commodity trading market situation: Oil prices fell more than $1 after data showed China's economic growth slowing and investors accepted mixed prospects in the Middle East. Brent crude fell $1.39, or $1.871, to $73.06 a barrel. WTI crude fell $1.45, or $2.051, to $69.22 a barrel. Stay tuned!
