Chairman of HVA Group: The value of a business today no longer lies in the assets it "owns", but in what it "activates".

In the digital asset era, the measure of a business is not just what is written on the balance sheet, but the ability to activate knowledge, ecosystems, trust and data to create new value. That point of view was emphasized by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of HVA Group - Vuong Le Vinh Nhan when taking on the role of Nominating Council Member of the Next Gen CEO 2025 program: "The new generation of business leaders is not measured by growth rate, but by the ability to maintain a solid internal foundation in the face of fluctuations."

Value transfer: from “owning” to “activating”

Many technology models grow rapidly and then stagnate. According to Mr. Nhan, the bottleneck is rarely in the technology, but in the people and the way businesses build trust. When growing too fast, the structure and culture cannot adapt; at that time, management capacity, transparency and the level of engagement will decide the long-term.

For HVA, the core asset is not a portfolio of discrete products or platforms, but a set of “enabling engines” consisting of systematic knowledge, reliable data, transparent governance standards, and a network of partners who share long-term value. A business is only truly strong when it can turn data into decisions, knowledge into competitiveness, and trust into coordination speed.

Building a knowledge ecosystem, not just a corporation

“HVA is not building a corporation, but a knowledge ecosystem,” Mr. Nhan said briefly. HVA’s goal is to create an environment for young entrepreneurs to learn, share and grow together; where the only criteria for connection are belief in common values and dedication, not short-term benefits.

Therefore, HVA's initiatives revolve around cultivating "ecosystem strength": a continuous learning framework for leaders, a co-creation mechanism with partners, data-driven operating principles, and transparent standards that help members coordinate safely in a volatile market context.

Criteria for Next Gen CEO 2025: Internal strength as the standard

In his role as a Nominating Council Member, Mr. Nhan prioritizes looking for leaders with “inner strength”: the ability to withstand pressure while maintaining identity, and the ability to learn and listen. “A new generation leader not only needs intelligence, but also a balance between reason and humanity.”

HVA sees “inner strength” not as a slogan, but as a system of skills that can be trained: discipline in thinking, humility in the face of data, and the habit of self-reflection to adjust quickly without losing principles. That is also how HVA chooses partners and nurtures the next generation.

Courage in a Crisis: Standing Firm by Accepting Failure

“I have experienced many crises, from financial, technological to personal reputation,” Mr. Nhan shared. What helps him and HVA stand firm is not a series of successes, but the ability to accept failure as part of the process of growing up.

A CEO with a strong internal foundation is one who does not let the outside world define his or her value. With HVA, feedback mechanisms, transparency standards, and data discipline are designed so that the entire organization can learn quickly from mistakes and transform crises into new capabilities.

The role of HVA: connecting technology, data and people

In the process of building the ecosystem, HVA pursues three parallel axes. First, standardizing management knowledge so that businesses in the ecosystem operate in sync. Second, designing a reliable data architecture to make informed decisions. Third, nurturing a culture of trust so that cooperative links can expand without compromising principles. Thanks to that, value lies not in how many assets HVA “owns”, but in how many new capabilities HVA “activates” for the business community.

Message to the leadership community

“Don’t be afraid to go slowly, just be afraid of not being true to yourself.” Technology can change the world, but only people can make that change meaningful. HVA’s vision also comes from this spirit: to build an ecosystem where knowledge is spread, data is respected, trust is protected, so that each business can go the long way with its own internal strength.
