Binance has just officially announced the initiative “Blockchain for Vietnam” with more budget 1 million USD, extending from July 2025 to July 2027The program's goal is to turn blockchain into a driving force for innovation, promote education, and nurture a generation of Web3 talents in Vietnam.
This event once again confirms Vietnam is becoming Asia's most vibrant blockchain hub, thanks to the high adoption rate of digital assets, the abundant young technology engineers and open cooperation from the regulatory agency. This is the "golden land" for Binance to realize its global vision: Using blockchain as a tool to create real change in life and the economy.
In particular, this event also received attention from domestic technology businesses such as HVA Group, a pioneer group in applying blockchain and developing the Web3 ecosystem in Vietnam.
Three Strategic Pillars of Blockchain for Vietnam
1. Empowering Education
Binance will launch programs “train-the-trainers” aims to provide fundamental knowledge and blockchain teaching tools for university lecturers in many fields, not just limited to the IT industry.
HVA Group is also committed to this mission by sharing resources, hosting in-depth workshops, and collaborating with universities to build practical blockchain curricula.
The goal is to spark creativity in the classroom and equip young people with the skills they need to participate in the digital economy.
2. Promote Industry Innovation
Binance will sponsor blockchain pilot projects in strategic areas such as agriculture and tourism. This is to demonstrate the effectiveness of increase transparency, Optimized operation and increase positive impact on the real economy.
In line with that mission, HVA Group – a pioneer in blockchain application in Vietnam – is ready to cooperate in implementing pilot projects and providing technological solutions. Many solutions from HVA have proven effective in the fields of decentralized finance (DeFi) and are being researched and expanded in many fields.
3. Web3 Generation Support
Part of the budget will be used to scholarships and financial aid for Vietnamese students, from undergraduate to PhD level, to nurture future blockchain leaders.
Binance Journey with Vietnam
This is not the first time Binance has devoted resources to Vietnam. In the past:
- 2024, through Binance Charity, the floor has supported people affected by Typhoon Yagi, donated medical equipment to fight COVID-19 and installed saltwater filtration systems for 10 provinces in the Mekong Delta.
- Binance Academy has also organized lectures at more than 60 universities and colleges in 18 provinces and cities, forming a community of blockchain programmers in Vietnam.
And now, with the support of domestic enterprises such as HVA Group, the future of blockchain in Vietnam promises to explode even more strongly.
