Uptrend prevails
Agriseco Securities
On the technical chart, VN-Index retreated from the increase with liquidity exceeding the 20-session average. Many real estate stocks have retested the support levels during the fluctuations. This could be a process of shaking off the price recovery phase. Forecasting the development of the next period, VN-Index will have alternating sessions of increase and decrease and create a balance zone around the 1,280 (+-10) point mark. Investors should maintain holding their portfolios. Prioritize opening new purchases of large-cap stocks, VN30 is discounting to the support zone during the adjustment fluctuations during the session.

The tug-of-war situation continues to be the main trend in the session with increased liquidity, however, the momentum is somewhat tilted towards the buyers when the bottom-fishing cash flow continuously supports the price when there is a large selling pressure. Although the risk of strong fluctuations still exists, with the short-term uptrend being preserved, VN-Index has a high probability of successfully conquering the nearby resistance level. Investors are recommended to buy back the pillow trading positions when VN-Index or target codes adjust to the nearby support zones.

The market may continue to increase in the next session and the VN-Index may retest the 1,290 point threshold. At the same time, the market is still in a period of strong fluctuations in a positive direction and the VN-Index may soon surpass the 1,290 point level in the next 1-2 sessions. In addition, the Banking and Securities stocks have cooled down in the last three trading sessions, while the Real Estate index (VNReal) may still adjust in the next session, but the short-term risks in these three groups of stocks are still low and there is still a lot of room for short-term increases.
Take advantage of portfolio structure shake-ups
SHS Securities
In a positive scenario, VN-Index may be under pressure to adjust during the session to around the price range of 1,270 points - 1,275 points, corresponding to the average price range of the last 5-10 sessions, and continue to retest the price range of 1,300 points in the following week with the rotational support of large-cap stocks. In a less positive scenario, VN-Index may be under pressure to adjust to the price range of 1,250 points - 1,260 points, corresponding to the highest price range in 2023 as well as the price gap of the trading session on August 19, 2024. The positive point is that the adjustment pressure is still relatively normal in many stocks while many stocks are still recovering after strong adjustment pressure.
Asean Securities
The accumulation process to create a price base after the increase is still going well, although the psychology of taking profits and resting before the holiday makes trading somewhat cautious. The positive point is that the group of large stocks still plays a rotating role in keeping the market rhythm. The market tends to continue to shrink, creating a shake-up that shakes out short-term cash flow.
Although there are still concerns about potential risks from the possibility of a recession in the US economy in the short and medium term, Asean has a very positive assessment of the medium and long-term prospects of the domestic market. Investors should maintain a stable proportion focusing on stocks with good business foundations and profit prospects. Short-term fluctuations will be an opportunity to restructure the portfolio.
